   TOWN NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sorry it's taken so long to update the Website. Many things have happened since our annual meeting.

Amy Simpson has been hired to replace Lynn Bosworth's position of Town Clerk and Treasurer and the Registrar of Voters.

Fran Emmons was elected for a 3 year term replacing Jack Bair, Janice Kimball King was elected for a one year term replacing Darin Peck.

The Sunday after the annual meeting the Town Office was broke into. Police were called and they did get some evidence. To date there have been no arrests. We have replaced t he equipment that was taken and the damaged desks and safe. Howie Stone who was the sub-contractor when the building was first built will be doing the repairs to the building. We are still waiting for this work to be done. We have installed a Security System with motion sensors and interior/exterior alarms.

Dan Daigle has been hired to fill the Public Works Position. He is presently employed at the Greenville Sewer and Water System and has a rental business of his own. We welcome him to the staff of the Town of Beaver Cove. We believe he will be an asset to the Town.

At this time we'd like to say thank you to Jack Bair for all his hard work and dedication to the Town of Beaver Cove. It was greatly appreciated.
